The TaskMagic2 package is available as a trial download. Once the downloaded setup file is run and TaskMagic2Trial installed, you will be able to access the TaskMagic2 programs for 30 days.
TaskMagic2Trial is a fully working version of the TaskMagicCreate and TaskMagicPlay programs, providing access to all of the features of the programs, including games, exercises, worksheets etc.
The TaskMagic2Trial setup package should install all necessary files to your PC. If having run the setup you encounter any problems, please let us know by email. Please ensure that you read the licence agreement and disclaimer which appears during the installation of TaskMagic2Trial.
Please remember that TaskMagic is essentially an authoring package. This means that it requires you to create your own content. 'Help' tabs on the edit screens for the various exercise groups should provide you with the necessary information to create your own exercises. The trial download also comes with a handful of sample exercises which you can access with TaskMagicCreate or TaskMagicPlay. You should also be able to access ready-made games and exercises available on the Web. (See the link on the left of this page.)
Please note that you will need to have full administrative privileges in order to install the TaskMagic2 Trial on your computer. If you are using your own computer, this should not be a problem. However, if you are using a school computer or laptop, it is likely that you will have restricted privileges, and you will probably need to ask a technician to install the trial for you.
The downloaded file is a compressed file (TaskMagic2Trial.exe). Once it is downloaded, it will install the 30 Day Trial of the TaskMagic2 programs on your computer.
You may be given the option to run or to save the file when you click on the download link. If you choose to run the programme, the installation will begin as soon as the file is downloaded. If you choose to save the file, you can specify a place to save it to on your computer. Once the download is complete, you will need to run the file at some point to install the software on your computer.
NB: At the end of the installation process, you will be asked for a password.

Once installed, the TaskMagic programs can be accessed via your computer’s Start menu:
Start > Programs > TaskMagic2Trial > TaskMagicCreate & TaskMagicPlay
 
NB. All of the TaskMagic Programs are designed to run on Windows (95 or later). TaskMagic2 is now 100% compatible with ie7 and Windows Vista.
