unit contains hundreds of separate games / exercises / activities
which can be used with PCs in a computer suite or with the whole class
using an interactive whiteboard. Each unit contains an index file (a web page) which contains links to a activities in a suggested learning sequence. This learning sequence works in the following way: 1) Introduce the new vocabulary 2) Match the spoken form with the meaning 3) Compare the spoken and written form 4) Pronunciation focus 5) Match the written form with the meaning 6) Focus on spelling 7) Produce the language / language in context Since all vocabulary is presented using sound files, the resources can easily be used by non-specialist teachers. |
